Yann Guinard
Yann GUINARD is the Vice President System, Networks and Storage Development and Area manager Central & Eastern Europe at EDF International Division.
Starting out at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of France, he then moved to strategic consulting, developing a 10 years’ experience in business strategy and operational excellence in the fields of Aerospace and Manufacturing industries, leading assignments and teams in several European countries and North America.
In 2009, Y. GUINARD joined the Industrial Department of Framatome (then AREVA), before he was appointed in 2013 Vice President Strategy and member of the Executive Committee of the Nuclear Fuel Business Unit (1.5 Bn EUR revenues, 4000 employees), where he took charge of global industrial footprint optimization, led the restructuring of foreign activities with local shareholders and banks, and managed key M&A projects.
In 2016, he was appointed Managing Director of CERCA™, a Division of Framatome and world leader in Science and Medicine nuclear applications. He carried out the turnaround of the activity, including development of customer base, new product development, world class R&D and the management of a multi-year investment program aimed at securing long-term supply of neutron sources and medical isotopes to research centers and patients worldwide.
Yann GUINARD joined EDF International Division in June 2019 as Vice President STRATEGY & MARKETING.
He holds a Master’s Degree in Public Affairs from Sciences-Po Paris, a Master in Business Administration from ESCP Europe, and graduated from the Harvard Business School Executive Education program.
