Francesco Corbo joined the EBRD in May 2006 as a Senior Advisor to the WBLEF Skopje (covering North Macedonia, Kosovo and Montenegro) and since 2010 joined the EBRD Energy sector team focusing on Renewables and investments in SOEs. He is currently Regional Head of Western Balkans, Energy Europe covering the Western Balkans countries and Croatia, leading a team of bankers focused on delivering investments in Renewable  energy and  supporting the  implementation of the regional green agenda.

He holds a B.A. Honours applied Economics, Laurea in Economia, Finance specialization, from the Univeristy La Sapienza, Rome and a MSc in European Studies and International Relations, Univeristy La Sapienza, Rome, Italy.
