PhD Nikola Rajaković
Prof. Nikola Rajaković, PhD, had spent decades teaching the subjects related to electric energy systems at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Belgrade.
As a mentor he managed development of more than 150 graduate theses, over 25 master's theses and was also a mentor for the development of 14 doctoral theses.
Between 2002 and 2004 he was vice-dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, chairman of the Board of Directors of the Public Company TPP "Kostolac" and chairman of the Board of Directors of the Public Company "Electric Power Utility of Serbia".
He held the position of the State Secretary in the Ministry of Mining and Power Engineering between 2008 and 2011. During this term of his Serbia had introduced the tariff system in order to stimulate more intense utilization of renewable energy sources.
Prof. Nikola Rajaković, PhD, was the consultant hired by the World Bank.
Since 2004 he has been the president of the Association of Energy Sector Specialists of Serbia, leading expert organization in the area of power engineering, and the consultant for energy projects, primarily the projects on renewable energy sources.
