Ervin Leko

Ervin Leko was born in 1970. He graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Split.

Early in his career he performed activities related to electricity generation in the Public Company “Electric Power Utility of Herceg Bosna d.d. Mostar“, having been deployed to various job positions such as maintenance engineer in HPP “Mostar“, manager of technical activities, manager of the generation management department and other positions in the Electric Power Company. While he was employed in the area of electricity generation, he was the task manager for SCADA System and Telecommunications Project in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the part related to the Electric Power Utility.  In addition to other different activities, it is to be particularly emphasized that in Bosnia and Herzegovina he was a member of the first Technical committee for development of the first Grid Code and first market rules for energy system of Bosnia and Herzegovina. He took part in many professional meetings, symposiums and conferences in the region, particularly those related to electricity generation and electricity market. Since 2015, he has been performing the activities of a manager of Electricity Market Sector in which period he has been actively engaged in a number of working professional meetings regarding establishment of electricity market in BiH and wider region.
