Doc. PhD Martin Ćalasan

Martin Ćalasan, PhD, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the University of Montenegro, was born in 1986 in Plužine, Montenegro. He graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the University of Montenegro in Podgorica, which he had enrolled in 2005 and completed in June 2009 with an average grade 9.95, and had received his M.S. in 2010 titled “Simulation Modeling and Static Excitation System Operation of Synchronous Generators in HPP Perućica“, average grade "A" (10.00). So far, he has published more than 50 papers in the leading international SCI/SCIE indexed journals. Also, he published about 140 scientific and expert papers in other international, regional and national journals, as well as at the international and local science conferences. Expert activity of Martin Ćalasan, PhD, Assistant Professor, is reflected in the development of a great number of projects, studies and studies of expertise. In addition, he was engaged in more than 30 committees consisting of expert witnesses from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, regarding court cases which required provision of a scientific expertise of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering.

Member of IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers), CIGRE Paris (International Council on Large Electric Systems, Paris) and CIGRE Montenegro (International Council on Large Electric Systems, Montenegro), currently holding the position of a vice-president. Also, he represents Montenegro in IEEE Power & Energy Society of Serbia and Montenegro.   He holds many awordsanad recorditions from energy field.
